Kitchee Sports Club
The Kitchee Sports Club is a professional football team based in Kowloon. Founded in 1931, the team is a member of the Hong Kong Premier League. The team has won many trophies, including the Hong Kong Cup. They are also known for their strong fan base. During the 2000s, Kitchee was the second most popular club in Hong Kong. The team went through a difficult period, but eventually returned to the top tier. In 2003, Kitchee was managed by Chan Hung Ping, a former Hong Kong national manager. Since then, the team has been managed by ten different managers. The club gained international recognition during the 2005 season, under Serbian manager Dejan Antonic. Since then, the team has been dominant in the Hong Kong football league without reaching the top level in continental football.
